Fish of the Laguna Madre

The summer time is a perfect season to get aquainted with the abundance and diversity of fish in our Laguna Madre! This event is intended to help kids learn more about the unique fish residing in our Lower Laguna Madre.

During this event, Naturalists Educators will help better understand these aquatic animals through a variety of ways.  Kids will participate in indoor instructional time where they will learn fascinating facts about these fish, including their behaviors, diet, and habitat. In addition, they will also have the chance to participate in fun and engaging activities such as net casting which is designed to help them better identify these fish.

Your registration ticket covers admission for your child as well as the program fee. 

Accompanying adults must pay full price admission fees at entrance doors. Parent/guardian involvement is optional.
